Очень качественная сборка, резьба имеет небольшое количество заводской смазки, все подогнано очень плотно, диод отцентрирован хорошо, анодирование идеально, очень красивого серебристо-титанового цвета. Фонарь весьма компактен, можно даже в кармане джинсов носить, в сумке/рюкзаке места почти не занимает. С обоих концов имеются уплотнительные кольца – фонарь герметичен, можно смело пользоваться им в дождь и переправляться вброд через лужи во дворах. Диод действительно Cree XM-L2 T6, свет приятный белый (теплый белый), не режет глаз. Яркость высокая. Световое пятно равномерное и широкое, без паразитных засветов и теней. Драйвер диода содержит шесть стабилизаторов AMC7135, что дает максимальный ток 2.1А. Контроллер поддерживает две группы режимов работы фонаря с памятью. В описании не сказано как переключаться между группами, исправлю этот пробел – при выборе минимального режима фонарь через пару секунд моргнет, сразу после этого необходимо полунажатием кнопки переключиться между группами. В итоге фонарь мне очень понравился, не жалею ни цента, что потратил. Корпус ощутимо нагревается при длительной работе фонаря в среднем или максимальном режиме. Хотя зимой это даже хорошо.

These Convoy S3 torches certainly pack a punch for their size. The light output with the 7135 x 8 driver is simply unbelievable – I HAD TO SEE IT FOR MYSELF TO BELIEVE IT. Its just as bright as a car headlight. The beam is wide enough to give a good wide beam close in but also narrow enough to give good strong usable light out to 100 metres and beyond. At full power the head of the torch does start to warm up. If you run the torch at medium you still get 500lm but at max you certainly get the 1000lm at least as stated in the specs. The build and feel of these torches is of very high quality – top notch. They are light, compact and easy to carry. There is no need to focus the beam and you really don’t need to as the preset focus on the reflector is superbly balanced. I’ve seen torches where when you focus you see a square LED shaped light. With this torch you get a nice evenly and optimally shaped light beam. There is no focus as it is not required. None

Received this new convoy s2+ with Sst40 after a long wait ( due to the coranna situation nodoubt) took almost three months!But after remembering That I ordered this new toy and put a fully charged Samsung 30 q battery in it did put a smile on my face!This light prices to be a REAL STEP-UP on the already berry good convoy S2 family line, AMAZING light output for such a small light, form factor is the same as the other s2plusses I already own, butt this new LED gives it a amazing boost in output,almost double the range aswel ,so for outdoor use even better than the older lights.And since is now has a really LOW ” CANDLELIGHT setting AND no strobe and Sos witch I never use, a much more pleasure to use as EDC solution, so convoy made a great light even better,happy buyer ( pictures are one in candle mode,the other in 18 lumen)
